Haloz everybody,

I haven posted for a while.. Have been very bz with things in camp that's why. Hmm.. It's Chinese New Year le wor.. How are u all having ur CNY celebration?

For me, It's so boring.. I was on duty the day b4 CNY eve so on the eve, i slept throughout the day til evening. so sad right.. haha.. At night got up den had my reunion dinner with my parents, siblings and aunt. After dinner, i went to meetin Annie and Wei Quan to go to Chinatown to squeeze into the crowd. Annie wanted to get some 'Ba Gua' as his house ran out. I wanted to get some 'peanut dumpling' but sadly, it was too crowded and i cant find it.

On the 1st day of CNY, i was on duty so in the morning i had to book in lor.. Super sianz right.. know how i did my duty? i was sleeping throughout until 4+ den i wake up.. cos i didnt sleep on CNY eve mah.. haha.. i am sleeping in camp while my whole family went to lunch. all the 9 of them. argh..

2nd day of CNY,
i went home after morning duty lor.. reach home, shower and use the comp.. haha.. so no life hor??
at bout 1+ i went lor again lor.. went out with Annie and Wei Quan again lor.. we went to marina square.. walk around.. lunch.. den went to catch 'Ah Long PTE. LTD.'
LOL.. haha.. after the movie we went to river ang pow... lol... another day of squeezing in the crowd.

Today, i slept til bout 11 lor.. den at 12 i left the house to go out.. met up with a fren who i haven met after a long time.. haha.. went to catch another show 'Kung Fu Dunk'.. The show is not bad lah.. haha.. after movie den we went to catch a drink at Cafe Galilee in the Library... lol.. den we walk again.. dunno how we ended up walking to the old woodlands centre.. haha.. den something happened when i'm on my way back.. super embarrassing lor.. wont write it here.. haha..

That's how i spent the 1st 3days of my CNY lor.. boring hor?? haha.. i find that as the years go by.. CNY seems to be losing the significance.. Celebrations are not as grand as wat it used to be.. The festival is not as significant to the youngsters these days.. wat do u think? tag mi in my tag box ya!

Bidding 2007 farewell, we welcome 2008, a new year with new things to look forward to. Start of a new year, maybe we could look at the Majar events that has happened in 2007 which has juz turned into memories for all of us.

Actually nothing much has been happening to me over this one year. Still the same going to and fro from camp everyday. However, I've been like going home later and later since Jan til now. Audits are coming throughout the year, and i've been staying back late to do up all the things.. Tiring!! Finally, a year passed and i could finally relax for a while. There are more to come in this new year.

Yesterday, it was half day in camp and wat were we doing back in camp? No choice, not an official PH so gotta be in camp. Our encik organised a steamboat lunch in camp. Upon reaching camp early in the morning, I put my bag down was dragged to go buy the food stuffs for the steam boat. Practically, i was not doing anything early in the morning except preparing for the steamboat.

Steamboat ended at 1300+ and all left at bout 1400hrs. I was stil in the camp chatting with my frens and MO. I left camp only at 2000hrs. Haha.. Wat a boring new year's eve i had right?

Reached home and Out i went again to join my frens clubbing at Play. Reached there at 2230 hrs. had a few drinks but the music was Bad that day. So not realli dancing so we only chatted around the table and enjoy the Vodka Ribena and Champagne. Went off early at 0300hrs.

I had a boring new year celebrations. Agree??

2 year away from blogging!!

Wao.. It's been 2 years I last blog.. Now I'm back into the blogging world.
Wat shall I tell you guys about?? Let's see..

For the past 2 years, I enlisted into NS in Jun06. Had my BMT in Pulau Tekong, went through all the trainings with my company mates, platoon mates and of course sections mates. It was tough during the period of BMT, lots of push ups and sit ups. Lots of it. However, we enjoyed it surprisingly. It was the time whereby everyone go through the same treatment, the same punishments. All as a group, how nice right? During that period, It was also the first time we had a chance to grab a rifle, throw a grenade. Wao! It's an experience of a lifetime i should say

After BMT, i was posted to SMTI for a medic course. It was a 3 month course. Upon reaching the place, i was lost, reason being that there were one 3 people from out company that were posted for the course. Reaching there, everyone around me were new faces and hence the cycle of making new frens starts again.

Finishing my course, I was again reposted to TAB Medical Centre as a combat medic. Life there was good. No more push ups and sit ups as punishments. Starting was pretty fairly going through the routines. As I get more senior when our senior batches leave, more responsibilities fall onto out shoulder which means more work to do. Argh! Dread the days we have to stay in even when we are not on duty.

As we are a 24 hrs medical centre, patient flow never stops, even after office hours where there are only four medics on duty with the MO and 2 driver. Although life was good there but the mental stress that we are going through could really make us go mad too.

For me, I'm still coping well with the stress. Perhaps, I'm just still having the happy-go-lucky mood, that's why i've yet to go crazy. Currently still serving my 2 years of NS and hope everything goes well for mi all the way til I ORD in June 2008.
